MODES is a research group launched within the Birmingham Centre for Energy Storage at the University of Birmingham. We are a team made by young researchers from different backgrounds, with the common drive to propose innovative solutions for energy technologies.
Our activities span over modeling, numerical simulations and experimental work, mostly focusing on thermal and chemical phenomena. We work at different scales (from continuum to process), looking for the optimal solutions to real-world problems.
